Ava was so excited to start kindergarten! Her first day was August 31, 2015. She loves every day of kindergarten, and she loves her teacher Mrs. Cregan. Her best friend who lives down the street is in her class!
Ava wanted to ride her bike to school on the first day. We live two short blocks from the school, about a 5-10 minute walk/bike ride. Ava was a little nervous at first. She worried she would get lost in the big school, but when I picked her up in the afternoon, she was nothing but smiles. She LOVED it and said, "I want to go to kindergarten tomorrow, and the next day, and the next, and when I die and go to heaven I want to go to kindergarten!!!"
Tyler usually rides his bike speedy fast to pick up Ava in the afternoon, but every once in a while he prefers to catch a ride in Mackenzie's stroller and eat snacks. Who needs a double stroller when you've got a big basket!
My favorite part of the day is when Ava runs out the school gate, Tyler yells "Ava!" and they crash into each other and give each other a big hug. Tyler misses Ava so much while she is at school. He asks me several times throughout the day, "Is Ava done coloring?" Aka "Is it time to pick up Ava?" Ava told Tyler she colors at school.
