Tidbits

Here are just a few things we have been up to lately.

Ava loves the park! On this warm day she decided to relax on the warm rubber matting. Just enjoying the sunshine!
 Having fun on the swing.
 Barfing on the swing.
Just kidding.   :)
She was trying to cover her face so I couldn't take a picture.

Ava loves to dance! She danced to music for a solid 5 minutes this time. I think she has some good moves! Minus the last one. ;)

She always finds lots of dandelions on our almost daily walks.

We have been trying to "read the scriptures" with Ava every night, aka look through the pictures in the church nursery manual. When we walked up to the grocery store the other day, she pointed and said, "Temple!" Hm... I can see how she could get confused with the "steeple" and all. Change the color to white and stick an Angel Moroni on top, yup, pretty close. :)

Being a mom of two has kept me busy! I'm scrambling to keep up with everything! I was pretty proud of myself when I carried in these groceries (including 2 gallons of milk) and Tyler in his carseat and corralled Ava with my legs, all the way to our house, which involves going down a flight of stairs.

 Her new sundress!

All ready to go with her hair done, glasses, bracelet, and bandaids! :)

I love my sweet little boy! I like his expression in the picture below.
I haven't said much about having a newborn around. Tyler is a champ! At EVERYTHING! Before you get upset, know that we paid our dues with Ava. :) Tyler eats well, sleeps all the time, and is usually pretty content. We are so grateful for his sweet personality. I was expecting to be a wreck from lack of sleep and screaming children. So far, it's been pretty good. He is also putting on weight like a champ! He flew through the newborn diapers (Ava was in them for what seemed like forever) and has already grown out of some of his clothes!

 "Man" Time :)

Ava is so helpful! This is the first bottle she fed Tyler. Too bad she can't do this (as well as change diapers) unsupervised! :)

Ready for football season! Dad wishes it would come sooner!

I think this picture deserves its own post!
Ava is quite the little gymnast! She was being her hyper self one evening, doing summer saults etc. and all of the sudden she flipped her legs up in the air and held them there! She also loves to jump on our bed and do 360 spins. We need to sign her up for a tumbling class! I think she would love it!

Tyler - 2 Weeks Old

It's amazing how quickly time passes. Tyler is two weeks old! Here are a few pictures from the past two weeks.

My Handsome Little ManFirst Bath
What his hair looks like after his bath.
Grandma Graff is here to visit! Yay!
Gassy smile. :)Happy Boy
We are doing great. Tyler is the best baby! He sleeps a ton and hardly ever cries. A little different than his sister. ;)

Ava

With all the excitement over Tyler, I don't want to leave Ava out.
What has she been up to these past two weeks? Besides being an awesome big sister...

We went to the farm again. This time I didn't have to worry about going into labor. :)Being silly in the bathtub. This is what she does when I ask her to smile nicely.I did get one nice smile out of her.
My mom and I took Ava to an Easter Egg Hunt at my favorite children's consignment store. Ava was excellent at finding eggs and filled her basket quickly!
She has been going on a lot of walks. She loves to be outside. On this walk, she collected every twig on the path. She is such a sweet big sister. Every morning when she wakes up, she is so excited to see "Baby Tyler" and wants to hold him several times throughout the day.
I thought this picture was funny. Once again, I asked her to smile pretty, and this is what she did. It looks like she is hurting her brother, but she's just being her 2 year old self and doing the opposite of what Mom asks. :)
