I learned this trick from a fellow mom shopper. The "soft item" pillow. In this case tortillas. :) He stayed asleep through the whole store, then I put him in the car, drove to Costco, unbuckled him and he slept in the Costco cart until we were finished shopping! I can't remember what we did that day that wore him out.
While Ava was in preschool, Tyler would accompany me to my prenatal doctor appointments. On this particular day he was once again, very tired. He fell asleep on the way there and slept on this chair during my appointment. He didn't wake up until I was buckling him in the car. The first thing he said: "Where's my sucker?" He always got one from the nurse.

He is so active and loves the park, he is great at climbing and always willing to take a nap whenever he runs out of steam. My favorite thing about him at this moment is how he pulls out all the items needed to make cookies and expects you to help him make them. I love how smart he is and how he is learning his numbers and sounds of each letter. What a smart son you have. Can't wait for your family to come visit so I can play with your sweet children. They are so much fun! love mom
