This past weekend we went camping with some friends.
The kids of course LOVED making s'mores as well as eating all the other camp treats!
We went on a hike.
Mackenzie even came!
She slept the whole time. :)
The kids had fun sliding down this little waterfall.
We didn't see any bears, but we saw lots of deer.
The kids are already asking to go back.
Here she is relaxing in her "camping chair" aka her carseat. :)
She is getting so big!

camping was the way we always spent long weekends when you kids were young. It's a great way to be with nature, remember all the photos we have of you and heather on the log over the creek at Mamouth? I love all the times we went for day hikes and the 4 of you built forts and went fishing with dad and I. I love seeing your kids enjoy the same things. You look great with your sweet new baby, so glad you and Justin had a good trip and VERY THANKFUL Justin's shoulder is feeling better.
I love it when people go camping with their kids, especially tiny babies. So many people think it's impossible, but it's really so much fun. Your kids are getting so big. Loved all the anecdotes you shared in your other posts about them.
