The kids loved carving pumpkins. So much so that Tyler was mad when we made him stop and take a picture. :)
We ended up carving 8 pumpkins!
The day before Halloween, the kids trick-or-treated at a shopping center. Ava was Elsa and Tyler was a puppy. Grandma Hawes gave them their costumes.
Later that evening we went to our church's Trunk-or-Treat. The kids were pirates for this activity.
Ava insisted on wearing the heels.
Enjoying candy in the trunk after the Trunk-or-Treat. :)
I didn't take a picture, but for Ava's Halloween party at preschool she chose to dress up like The Little Mermaid.
For Halloween night, she chose Cinderella. :)
The kids had A BLAST trick-or-treating, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching them get so excited. They couldn't run fast enough! They raced from house to house, Tyler yelling, "Trick-or-Treat!!!"
After our initial trip trick-or-treating on our street, Ava decided she wanted to go back out and hit more houses. She trick-or-treated three and a half streets before she called it quits. She filled her bucket one and a half times! I believe this is just half of her candy. She ended up filling 3.5 gallon ziploc bags!
