Tour: The Inside Revealed!

The long awaited pictures of the inside of our home!
Obviously we are short on furniture.  :)
Over the next year we hope to fill the empty spaces.

View from the front door.

The open door in the picture above is our half bath. There is a coat closet next to the half bath. Thanks to Justin's Mom for painting this bathroom for us!

Turn the corner from the front door and you will see our empty living room. One day there will be a sofa and a sofa table facing the armoire along with a few other pieces of furniture.

Next is the formal dinning room which we changed into the piano room. There is no way we are allowing our children to eat over carpet!! Justin changed the light fixture from a chandelier to the flush mount light.

Thanks to my friend for helping me decorate!!
Again, missing a few chairs to be purchased in the future.

The other side of the piano room. Standing at the back door. Hutch to be painted in the future.

One of my favorite rooms!!
There is so much cupboard and counter space!
This view is from the piano room.

Now on to the basement, our main living area.
This half of the basement is the play area. To the left is a wet bar.

The other half of the basement: the adult area.
The closed door is a full bathroom for guests. To the right of that is a guest bedroom (for all of you!!)
Come visit us!

That's it for the bottom two floors of the house. The upstairs isn't quite put together. We have a great master suite, his and her closets and a large bathroom. Justin's office is in a section of our master bedroom. There are two other rooms upstairs. Ava and Tyler share a room. They sleep on a bunk bed which they LOVE. Another favorite room of mine is the UPSTAIRS LAUNDRY room!

Although Ava loves the new house, she misses her friends tremendously. We are about 30 minutes away from all of her friends versus having them down the street.

That being said, she was bored one day and this is what she did.

This is what she decided to wear for pajamas one night.

Tyler is missing from this post, but this picture is for him. We were in the basement when Tyler wandered upstairs. I was going to follow him up there, but before I made it I heard a thud and then Tyler began to cry. I found him covered in milk with his head down. When he saw me he said, "Ut-Oh" and kept crying. He wasn't crying because he was hurt. He was crying because he spilled milk all over himself in his unsuccessful attempt to pour a glass of milk. He's only 20 months old!

We loved the pictures of your house! Pouring a glass of milk with a full jug... Oh poor guy. I was thinking of you when I saw the milk all over the floor and thought how you probably took a metal picture of how much money you lost from the spilled milk. I know you, I bet you thought of that. Didn't you? Just think your kids will have a record of every fun, silly and not so good things they do here on your blog. Thanks for not showing just the perfect pictures. So good to know your family is human too. Love Ava's P.J.'s very colorful!!!
I love your family so much. I wish I was there to go furniture shopping with you. Love the cool piece below your TV and that toy shelf that Ken put together is so perfect. Tell Chana she did a nice job. love, mom

Shockingly, I didn't even think about the money until you mentioned it!! I just couldn't get over my sad little boy crying over the milk. :)
