Goat?

Exhibit A:
Scratches that resemble bite marks on my newly painted chair.

Exhibit B:
Our brand new leather chair with a bite-size piece of leather missing.

Exhibit C:
My son who loves to chew on things that he's not supposed to.

The Verdict:
Either there is a mysterious goat living in our house...
Or Tyler is teething on our nice furniture!!

Good thing we love this kid!
Yes, he climbed onto that shelf all my himself.

I never posted about how I refinished my table. In June, I stripped, sanded, stained, painted and sealed our table and chairs.

Before:

It was a grueling process. As a novice, I sanded and stained my table 3 TIMES before the stain took properly. I was on the brink of giving up after try #2. However, I had 7 amazing friends who helped me by watching my kids and some who put in their own sweat and tears on the project. Thank you to my wonderful friends who made this possible!

After:

Yesterday, Ava took a fingernail file and sanded the inside of one of the table legs down to the wood. The mark is about 3 inches long.

Good thing I love my kids.

oh brother, it's so hard to have nice things when we have kids. Remember my new table and the eyelet setter Ken set into our new table when he was young? Then the gun cleaner one of the boys used when they were older. hum... it must run in the family
4 Teeth marks... it a pretty good indication, it's NOT Ava!
