Owie

Tyler only says a few words and two of them are "Uh-oh!" and "Owie!" How fitting for his adventurous personality. At 16 months Tyler almost had his first trip to the ER for stitches. As a rough and tough Hawes boy, I don't expect this to be his last "owie." Hopefully they are all as minor. :) He tripped and hit his head on the corner of a ceramic square pot. After the bleeding stopped, we examining it and concluded it wouldn't need stitches. I know the band-aid is huge, but the T shaped cut is about the size of a pencil eraser. We only had large band-aids, and we figured it would be harder for him to pull off. We hope this heals without much scarring. However, off the top of my head I can count at least 5 scars Justin has from his childhood (4 of which are on his head). Oh the joy of raising little boys! :)

Oh Boy!
I was worried when I saw the size of the band aid until I read your story.
So glad you posted the details to go with the photo!
Ken and Jim were always cut bruised... come to think of it Heather had her fair share of scrapes as well. Your were very active too, how did you miss out on all the scars? Just lucky I guess
