As Ava gets older, she gets more talkative and thinks about things a lot. We can mention something once, and a few days later she'll be talking about it.
Heaven
Ava and Justin were talking about heaven the other day. Ava said, "I don't want to go to heaven." When Justin asked why she said, "Because I don't want to get flushed down the toilet!" It took him a second, then Justin understood. When Ava's goldfish have died, we've flushed them down the toilet and said, "They went to heaven!" :)
Ava always wants Justin to stay home from work. Justin explained to her, "If I don't go to work, I'll get fired." The other day Ava was talking to me about Daddy and said, "Daddy has to go to work. I don't want him to get hot and burned!"
After it rained Ava went outside and collected worms off the sidewalk. She talked about how the big ones were Mommies and Daddies. She carried them around with her and then put them in her bike basket on the patio. The next day she went outside and then came back inside with a handful of dried worms and a sad face. "My worms are dead. They aren't moving. I put them in my basket, and they don't like the sun. My worms are dead." -Sigh- Then she sang a song about how her worms were dead.
After the singing "funeral," I told her to throw the worms in the bushes for the birds to eat. She tossed the handful of worms and they landed in a pile on the sidewalk. She then told me she needed to step on the worms so the birds wouldn't choke on them. :) I think this comes from us always telling her Tyler is going to choke on things she leaves on the ground.

She makes so many funny faces, maybe she will be an actress or a comedian when she grows up
The birds may enjoy a little "worm jerky" Sort of like Beef Jerky only for the birds...
That story makes me smile :)
