Birthday Boy!

On March 16th Tyler celebrated his first birthday!

My tiny baby boy is now a toddler! I can't believe how fast the year went by.

Tyler is still too young to understand opening presents. He took one bite of the wrapping paper and chewed it. Ava took care of the rest. :)

Once again, he loves putting things in his mouth!
He got legos, plastic animals and cars for his birthday.

You can't tell, but the sprinkles are supposed to say, "TY." Ava helped. :)

Unlike Ava on her first birthday, he did not cry but loved licking the frosting!

He found this hat at a friend's house and liked wearing it around.
Happy Birthday Cowboy!

One Year Update:
- Tyler is an official walker now. He rarely crawls.
- He says, "Mama" "Dada" and "Uh-Oh"
- He knows what "Uh-Oh" means and will say it while doing something he's not supposed to.
- He loves cars and will push them around the house for a significant amount of time for a one year old.
- I often find him sitting in the corner of Ava's room looking at books by himself.
- He LOVES to climb on EVERYTHING.
- He can't stand his car seat.
- He loves to cuddle.

This was a fantastic post Tiffany. What a amazing thing you and Just do each day to raise such wonderful, happy, fun children. I know they take a lot of work right now but someday you will be like me where each are graduating high school, going to college, serving missions, married and raising children of their own. Someday you will looks back and say, Boy I miss playing with my little children. Sure I am happy that they can cook meals and wash their own clothes. I'm thrilled that each of you are or will to feel the love of a good marriage and the joy of parenthood. It warms my heart that you have another 20+ years of time to play, read and snuggle your little ones. May God bless you each and every day to see each moment as a blessing. Have patience with the "Ut-Oh" moments. This too will pass.
