Tidbits

Here are just a few things we have been up to lately.

Ava loves the park! On this warm day she decided to relax on the warm rubber matting. Just enjoying the sunshine!

She was trying to cover her face so I couldn't take a picture.

Ava loves to dance! She danced to music for a solid 5 minutes this time. I think she has some good moves! Minus the last one. ;)

 She always finds lots of dandelions on our almost daily walks.

We have been trying to "read the scriptures" with Ava every night, aka look through the pictures in the church nursery manual. When we walked up to the grocery store the other day, she pointed and said, "Temple!" Hm... I can see how she could get confused with the "steeple" and all. Change the color to white and stick an Angel Moroni on top, yup, pretty close. :)

 Being a mom of two has kept me busy! I'm scrambling to keep up with everything! I was pretty proud of myself when I carried in these groceries (including 2 gallons of milk) and Tyler in his carseat and corralled Ava with my legs, all the way to our house, which involves going down a flight of stairs.

I love my sweet little boy! I like his expression in the picture below.

I haven't said much about having a newborn around. Tyler is a champ! At EVERYTHING! Before you get upset, know that we paid our dues with Ava. :) Tyler eats well, sleeps all the time, and is usually pretty content. We are so grateful for his sweet personality. I was expecting to be a wreck from lack of sleep and screaming children. So far, it's been pretty good. He is also putting on weight like a champ! He flew through the newborn diapers (Ava was in them for what seemed like forever) and has already grown out of some of his clothes!

 Ava is so helpful! This is the first bottle she fed Tyler. Too bad she can't do this (as well as change diapers) unsupervised! :)

 Ready for football season! Dad wishes it would come sooner!

Ava is quite the little gymnast! She was being her hyper self one evening, doing summer saults etc. and all of the sudden she flipped her legs up in the air and held them there! She also loves to jump on our bed and do 360 spins. We need to sign her up for a tumbling class! I think she would love it!
