Happy Days

First of all, I want to wish all of those mothers out there Happy Mother's Day!! Especially to my mom and mother-in-law!

I had a wonderful weekend. Not only was it Mother's Day today, yesterday was our sixth wedding anniversary! On May 7, 2005 we were married for time and eternity in the Las Vegas LDS Temple. Here we are 6 years ago.Saturday started off well. I attended a women's conference held at my church. When I left for the conference, there were dishes in our sink, toys on the floor etc. I was expecting to have to do a lot of cleaning when I got home from the conference.

But! To my surprise, Justin cleaned the entire house, started the laundry, bathed Ava and had this waiting for me on the table!

There's more to the story. We only have one car, and I took it to the conference. I also had Ava's stroller in the back of my car.

Justin and Ava walked a mile to the grocery store and back to pick up my flowers and balloons! So sweet! My favorite thing is the adorable note they made me. :)

Thank you Justin and Ava for a wonderful Anniversary and Mother's Day! Justin and I were able to enjoy a movie, dinner and dessert while a friend watched Ava last night. Today, for Mother's Day, they made me an amazing breakfast, dinner and cookies for dessert! I have an awesome husband and a sweet little girl.

On a different note. Here is a project that I finally finished! :) I made a bookshelf from an old shutter.
Ava makes me laugh every day. She's a dare devil and a silly little goose. :) She has fallen backwards off the couch (on purpose) into a pile of clean laundry. The other day, she ran off the couch, did a front flip, and landed on her back (not on purpose). Today, she sat in this basket and started rocking back and forth until she fell over. She thought it was a lot of fun. :) I love her!
