Church... we survived!
This past Sunday was the first time we brought Ava to church… and we made it through all three hours! I was really nervous about bringing her because I was worried that she would cry/scream the whole time. (Ava has a good set of lungs, and likes to use them!) Luckily, we made it through sacrament (the first hour) fine. Justin and I had to take turns holding her (she didn’t sleep in the car seat like we had hoped) but at least she didn’t cry. She exercised her lungs during the second hour, but I was able to quickly slip out the door and feed her. She slept through the entire third hour… I just had to keep rocking her car seat. So, we did it! I don’t think I remember a word that was spoken, and my arm was a little tired after an hour of rocking, and oh, my skirt now has spit up on it… but we did it! :)
The dress she wore to church. Love the profile shot. As you can imagine, it's hard to get that perfect shot of a baby looking at you smiling!

Sounds like a pretty successful church to me! Glad it went well:) Love her church dress.
I told your dad that if you lived closer that I would come visit little Ava once a month... without hesitation he quickly replied, that is why they moved so far away.
what a jokester
love you THANKS for the pictures!!! I love them all
This is one of the times when I want another baby....but a girl! So I can put her in cute dresses and big flower headbands like Ava. I love it! And I love your captions for the photos. Hilarious!
Congratulations! That is a milestone. I still feel like there are Sundays where I don't hear much :)
Well, Caleb goes to nursery in 1 1/2 months. I think I may actually get something out of church at that point. :)
Surviving is a great first step. Don't worry when your youngest is about 3 you start to hear all 3 meetings again. But luckily the kids teach you so much. Braden and Aspen thought that Good Friday was a bad name for the day Jesus died. So we explained all that we have because he was willing to do the Father's will and then they got it a little. But they teach me so much.
Congrats on making it through! It's still tough for us at 11 months--Aaron never slept in his car seat and now fights me rocking him to sleep bc he wants to see EVERYTHING! But you just do the best you can on Sundays...then enjoy the normalcy the other 6 days :)
She is a doll! I love her flower :)
