Ava Kay Hawes
Our daughter, Ava, came into this world (a little early) on Friday, March 5th at 8:05am. She weighed 6lbs 9oz and is 19 inches long. We are so happy to have our little one here with us now! Here are some pictures of our sweet baby.

First bath at home. Dad did a great job bathing Ava while mom frantically snapped pictures. :) She screamed when we washed her body, but seemed to enjoy getting her hair washed.

Yes, you've seen her in a lot of outfits by now. :) She's only been home for four days, and mom is enjoying dressing her up. However, she is a tiny baby (now 5lbs 15oz after the expected weight loss). I was told not to get many newborn outfits because they grow out of them so quickly. Well, I had to roll these sleeves up three times to fit her! 
This just shows how tiny she really is. Those pants are newborn size!! They looked small when I received them at a shower, but now they look huge!

Sleeping so sweetly. This was the morning after she let mom sleep for a record amount of time... 2 hours! (I'll take anything I can get at this point.)
In reality, the days have been great, the nights, not so great. This is Justin sometime between the hours of midnight and 5am. This is Ava's most fussy time. We are working on adjusting her days and nights.

She is so adorable!! Congrats! That last picture of Justin asleep on the couch is killer. It's so hard! But don't worry, it really is such a short time and then it just gets better and better. She is so cute and little! Tiffany you look great by the way.

Congrats! She is beautiful! I'm so happy for you guys. You look great!!!! Seriously I can't even tell you just had a baby. Also LOVE the name. So precious. Oh and guess what Andi just had her baby boy on the 4th funny huh? Congrats again. Can't wait to hear the labor story.
Congrats Tiff! Shaely was that tiny too, and the only things that fit her were the Gerber newborn stuff... everything else she is too small for still! --She's 10 months and can still wear her Carter's 3 month onesies! ha! It's hard with the sleeping thing at first, but it's worth it to get your milk supply up (nursing at night REALLY helps). It does get better, my friend, just use that hubby for everything else in the night besides breastfeeding :)
She is so cute and so little! You do look very good too Tiff! I'm sure you'll get a routine with Ava but hopefully it doesn't take too long. :)

Congrats! I love her name and she is so darling. I hope you get some sleep soon. I highly recommend the book "Baby Wise" to help establish a schedule!
